Iconic personality: Megan Hess
Megan Hess’s name is related to some of the most prestigious fashion brands in the world. What you might not know about her career is that she started as a graphic designer and everything changed after receiving a call one specific evening and accepting to illustrate the best seller book “Sex and the city”, written by Candace Bushnell, in 2008.
Since then, her illustrations attracted the attention of companies such as Dior, Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Vogue, among many others, that opted to relate their brands to Megan’s signature style in different campaigns and partnerships, and Megan’s artwork is now related to high end icons of fashion and style.
To our delight, we had the pleasure to work with Megan before, with the FENDI sofa for the beautiful Mirvac penthouse apartment. The result, of course, was nothing less than stunning.
For all the other lovers of her work out there, the iconic fashion illustrator’s work is also available for purchase in the form of a bespoke range of scarves, cushions and limited edition paintings sold around the globe and on her website.
And she has just recently united fashion and interior design again and released her first written and illustrated book: Fashion House – illustrated interiors from the icons of style. Needless to say, it is must read material.
