Care Instructions
-
Vacuum-clean fabric every fortnight to get rid of dust in hidden areas. Use a soft, gentle brush head to avoid surface scratches or pilling.
Use only fabric cleansers to clean up stains, but a test on a back area is necessary to make sure it’s safe.
If more thorough cleaning is required a dry cleaner is recommended. Always use a professional dry-cleaner.
Maintain the shape and elasticity of cushions and pillows by patting them hard once a week.
-
Clean and dust every fortnight, using a piece of soft cloth to wipe the surface. When using a vacuum cleaner on leather, be sure to use a soft head and pipe so as not to scratch the surface.
To get rid of stains, use a clean soft cloth to wipe it off.
Do not use wet cloths and tissues on leather.
If more thorough cleaning is required use a clean soft cloth and leather cleanser. Always test cleansers in an inconspicuous location prior to cleaning.
For severe stains, please consult a professional cleaner.
-
To clean oil-stained glass tops, use a little detergent first, then wash the area with water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
-
Use a soft, damp cloth for daily maintenance.
Marble is a porous material. Regardless of protective resin coating, any spills should be cleaned immediately to avoid stains.
Oily and acidic liquids will penetrate the surface quicker than water.
Remove spills using a clean, natural coloured cloth and lukewarm waters. If more thorough cleaning is required use a non-alkali or acidic soap.
Do not place hot items on marble, it may cause the marble to shock and crack. Use coasters to protect its surface.
-
Wipe furniture with a piece of soft damp cloth in the direction of grain. For parts that collect most dust, clean them thoroughly.
Clean up any stains as soon as possible.
Do not use agents like gasoline or alcohol to wipe wood. Do not use wet bleached tissue either because it may cause harm to the stain or finish.
If cleaning is not done regularly, we advise you use a professional cleaning agent. Take the recommended amount of the agent on a soft cloth to clean the furniture, and then use the other side of the cloth to wipe agent off. Always test cleaning agents in an inconspicuous place prior to use.
-
Damp cloth can be used on steel and aluminium units, but not use acidic or alkali detergent because it will harm the surface and cause oxidation. Hard scratches may cause the same problem.
Metal joints may loosen with time, tighten the screws to get them back in place.
Condensation on metal surfaces should be removed with a dry cloth to prevent rust.
In the event of rust that is not covered by Limited Warranty, consult a professional for assistance.
Product Use & Safety Precautions
Applicable Environment
Camerich furniture should be used indoors where temperature and humidity are relatively stable. Ideally, the temperature should be between 16-26 degrees celsius with relative humidity between 35-65%
Exposure to sunlight for ling periods can cause discolouration and ageing of the furniture surface. Therefore, the furniture should not be placed near air conditioner vents or any heat source and try to avoid direct, intense sunlight.
Safety Precautions
Do not open more than two vertically oriented drawers at the same time.
Keep children and pets away from power outlets on furniture and fragile items such as glass and mirrors. Do not let children climb on glass tops, drawers, cabinet doors or bookshelves.
User Tips and Precautions
The furniture should be placed on a flat surface. When placing heavy objects on table tops and cabinets, ensure that the weight is evenly distributed. Avoid placing too many heavy objects on a surface for long periods of time to prevent warping over time if not placed correctly.
Prevent sharp, supercooled or overheated objects, and corrosive substances from contacting furniture surfaces. If detergent is accidentally spilled on a tabletop it should be cleaned immediately. If scratches appear on furniture from daily use, contact for touch up pens or contact a professional for assistance.
Product functional hardware, such as rails and hinges, should be opened and closed gently to avoid sudden impact.
Do not drag the furniture. Instead, lift or carry it to prevent damaging both the furniture and the floor. If the furniture needs to be disassembled, it is recommended to hire a professional tradesperson. Users should try to avoid products being assembled and disassembled more than three times.
